You’re here because you’re using EveryoneSocial for employee advocacy, which helps build efficiencies with tools and features that amplify social networking and brand awareness.

This video guide aims to equip you with the knowledge necessary to navigate the intricacies of moderating content in EveryoneSocial.

We’ll use our Enterprise plan for this video, so your experience may vary if you’re on one of our other plans. Below this video, we’ll also link help center articles that provide greater detail on each topic covered.

Let’s get started!

Moderators and EveryoneSocial

EveryoneSocial is a platform that drives company growth by providing tools that empower you and your colleagues to share content and grow professional networks.

We believe your company's employees are the best at sharing your brand’s message for the most authentic insight into what your company does, what its goals are, and how it can benefit others. Whether that benefit comes from filling an open job position, purchasing a product, or sharing an innovative process, your colleagues are the ones best positioned to share that message for the most reach and engagement.

Roles and responsibilities

Moderators can manage most of the Group and have access to many of the same posting permissions as Admins. There are two roles to consider: Workspace roles and Group roles.

Moderators can see Group roles: Owner, Moderator, and Member. However, Moderators can not see Workspace roles.

You can learn more in the following article.

Group settings

Each Group will have different settings, depending on the intended purpose. There are a few settings to be aware of.

  • Group privacy: The content of Public Groups is visible to anyone, while the content of Private Groups is accessible only to Group members.
  • Allow members to post: Members can submit content to the Group.
  • Auto-approve posts: Posts do not require Admin or Moderator approval to publish to the Group Timeline.
  • Read only: Posts can not be shared outside of the Group.
