Audit logs allow users to view a post’s summation of when a change occurred, and see who made the change. All edits to the post after the author clicked Post will be tracked on the audit log. If the post required approval, then any edits made by the approver will produce an audit log. All edits to the post after the author clicked Post will be tracked on the audit log.

View a post's audit log

Take the following steps to view a post’s history.

  1. Go to the post.

  2. Click the three dots menu.

  3. Select Audit Log.

🔹 Audit log will not be visible if the post has not been edited.

The following details are included in an Audit Log.

  • Action: Change that took place after publication. There are two types of actions.

    • Approved: Moderator or Admin approved the post.

    • Updated: Someone changed the post.

  • Who: Person who took the action.

  • When: Local date and time the change occurred.

Can I see the change that was made?

EveryoneSocial records a post’s actions but does not record post versions. Because of this, we can not see the specific changes made to a post. However, you can use the Audit Log to view users who made changes and contact them for assistance.
