Share internal posts from EveryoneSocial to Slack using posts that have been marked as "allow sharing" to make them public. A shareable post will always have a Share button available. Posts can be shared following the steps in this article.

Enable Slack
🔹 An admin must first enable Slack’s integration and then connect to Slack.
- Go to Admin.
- Select Settings.
- Click
Edit Settings.
- Toggle on Slack Integration.
- Click Save.
Follow the connection steps below to Connect Slack to your profile; use a Slack admin profile, and check the box “Consent on behalf of your organization.” Once consent is given, anyone can connect to Slack and post content.
Connect Slack to your profile
- Click the profile menu.
- Select Account Settings.
- Scroll to Connect to Slack.
- Click Connect to Slack.
- Click Allow to authenticate your account.

Compose a post to send to Slack
- Publish a post.
- Toggle on Share to Slack during the publication process.
- Select the public Slack channels to share content to.
- Click Post.
How Slack posts are published
Posts are shared to Slack as soon as they are published in EveryoneSocial. Content is posted near immediately if the content does not require approval. Content requiring approval is posted as soon as it's approved by an Admin or Group Moderator.
🔹Post approval must take place in the desktop app.
Interacting with Slack posts
The post will display the option to Share or View the content, which redirects viewers to a Public Post Page to take further action.
How to Delete a Post from a Slack Channel
Follow the directions below if you need to delete a post from Slack.
- Click the three-dots menu.
- Select More message shortcuts...
- Search "delete."
- Select Delete ES Post.
