Share internal posts from EveryoneSocial to Slack using posts that have been marked as "allow sharing" to make them public. A shareable post will always have a Share button available. Posts can be shared following the steps in this article.

Connect Slack to your profile
- Click the profile menu.
- Select Account Settings.
- Scroll to Connect to Slack.
- Click Connect to Slack.
- Click Allow to authenticate your account.
Compose a post to send to Slack
- Publish a post to a Group.
- Toggle on Share to Slack during the publication process.
- Select the public channels to host the shared content.
- Click Done to publish the Group post.
How Slack posts are published
Once Group Admin and Moderators have approved your post, the post will be published to selected as well as the channels you have selected within Slack.
Interacting with Slack posts
Channel members will have the option to Share or View your post in Slack.
Slack will display a preview of the post with the option to view more. If members in Slack click View, they will be brought to the post within EveryoneSocial where they can comment, share externally, or like the post.
If they click Share, they will then be brought to the "Review and Share" window within EveryoneSocial where they can share externally. You can click Share to share your post to your selected social networks or you can schedule your external share for later. If you choose to Share the post without selecting a scheduled time, EveryoneSocial will queue your share for when your post is more likely to receive engagement.
How to Delete a Post from a Slack Channel
In Slack, click the vertical three dots menu on the upper right-hand side of the post.
Choose "More message shortcuts."
Type "delete" in the search bar and select "Delete ES post."
